Hours

We are open for the 2010 season. Trips leave on the hour, every hour from 9am-2pm for rafts, 9am-3pm for canoes and kayaks. Please show up 15-20 minutes before to sign up for trip.

Mountain Bike

$30-per person midweek
$35-per person weekend
Mountain bike rentals are available in two-hourr frames. Ask about our minimum height and weight requirements. Helmets must be worn at all times. Transportation to and from the trail is provided. All persons must be 10 years of age to rent a bike, and anyone 17 years and under must have a parent or guardian sign a waiver and accompany him/her on the trip.

Shawnee River Trips, known originally as the Delaware River Discovery Center, is on its second full season of outdoor adventures which include rentals of rafts, solo and tandem (2-person) kayaks, canoes, fishing equipment, and mountain bikes.

Also, the Delaware River offers top-notch fishing for a variety of fresh water species. A valid Pennsylvania or New Jersey fishing license is required. Fishing rods are available for rent. The Minisink Hills base is open to the public and located off Interstate #80, Exit #310 (Delaware Water Gap), on River Road, across the street from the Smithfield Elementary School.
